Youth Voyages

Ages 9–17

Set sail for an adventure unlike any other. Become a part of the crew of a nineteenth-century tall ship, learning about navigation, hauling sails, and working as a team.

Kids don’t realize how much they are learning while playing games, singing songs, and working together as a team.

Vineyahd Kids

Grades 4th – 6th

Over the past 30 years, most Vineyard children in grades four through six have gone to sea for a week aboard Shenandoah. The unique experience is a rite of passage. Students learn about their heritage as Islanders, develop valuable skills for living in a place surrounded by the ocean, and get to know their classmates on a new level.

Sign your Vineyahd Kid up for a weeklong, immersive, unplugged voyage aboard Shenandoah. The experience becomes a part of who they are.

Group Voyages

Classes, troops, clubs, businesses, churches, teams, etc.

Teachers, coaches, leaders, this is the ultimate team-building experience. Groups embark on a weeklong voyage in which charting courses and singing chanties are parts of the curriculum —immersive, dynamic, challenging, and novel. Expansive horizons replace walls. Friendships and memories are made that will last a lifetime.
